Mental health of children and young people

Positive mental health allows adolescents to think, learn and thrive. Join our host Claire Mann, from South Western Railway for October’s Wellbeing Wednesday when she spoke to Hinal Patel, a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, who shared insights into why adolescents behave in the way they do and how to channel their time and energy to boost their mental health and development.

Hinal offered practical tips on how to manage how young people use social media, ways to ensure they get enough sleep and how to open up conversations about issues that are troubling them.
