This session will highlight the strategy and roadmap for creating healthy cultures in rail, with practical insights from leaders, researchers and rail organisations.
The industry framework for making healthy decisions will be shared, as well as current research into understanding the barriers and impact of the rail environment on healthy behaviour. You will hear about how GTR have successfully implemented a diabetes awareness and lifestyle behaviour change programme, and how GB Railfreight have used RSSB’s Wellbeing Champion toolkit to create a programme with wide-reaching impact for their front line, followed by a panel discussion on what needs to be done to create and embed health and wellbeing at the heart of company culture and decision making.
